In Week 5 we tackle pet portraits with inspiration from Cairo. The oil pastels work well with layers of colour pencils for finer details. βπΌ
The results speak for themselves with this fun project!

We arrive at Week 4 with the introduction to colour! β€οΈπ§‘πππ©΅πππ©·
This is when our beginners get to join our returnees to produce a hue filled artwork using oil pastels. ποΈ

As we revisit the body and face proportions, Week 3βs muse has us blending hues to create a range of skin tones on our stunning synchronised swimmers. ππ»ββοΈππΌββοΈππ½ββοΈππΎββοΈππΏββοΈ

For Week 2 we turn to red from the blue!
Concentrating on the loose illustrative style to form an Old London Bus. π
The colours become more vivid once the watercolour pencils are activated with a wash of water. π¦
This made for some stand out artwork by our returner students. Whereas our beginners studied the concept of gridding and perspective.
