Prior students achieved a 96% pass rate compared to the national average of 67.3%. 51% achieved grades 9-7 against a national average of 21.8%. English and Maths results also bucked the national trend, with a 98% pass rate in both subjects.

Standout subject results were:

• Chemistry: 75% grades 7+
• Biology: 71% grades 7+
• Physics: 68% grades 7+

Behind these results is an enormous amount of hard work from our students and staff. We’re particularly proud of the progress made across the cohort, with academic mentoring from our Sixth Form students helping build an ambitious culture in which our young people support and inspire each other.

A huge well done to everyone, we couldn’t be prouder!

A new name. One shared journey.

From September 2026, The Paragon School will become Prior Park Paragon.

More than a change of name, this marks an exciting new chapter in the life of our school. Together, Prior Park Paragon and Prior Park College will form one through school, creating a connected educational journey from age three to Sixth Form across two distinctive campuses.

For our families, this means children can enjoy a seamless pathway as they grow, progressing naturally from Prior Park Paragon to Prior Park College without the traditional 11+ entrance examination. Every stage of their education will be shaped by the same shared values, high aspirations, and commitment to knowing every child as an individual.

This development reflects the increasingly connected experience our pupils already enjoy. From sport and swimming through to science, DT and drama, children at Prior Park Paragon benefit from the exceptional facilities, expertise and opportunities available across the Prior Park family. Their learning is enriched their horizons are broadened from their very earliest years.

Our new name reflects our shared vision and closer partnership, while each campus continues to offer the warmth, care, and sense of belonging that have always defined our community.

While our name and visual identity are evolving, our commitment to exceptional education, individual care, and helping every child flourish remains constant.

FAQs can be found in the LinkTree in our bio.

Welcome to the next chapter!

On throwback Thursday, we're pedalling back to the Leavers' Ball!

A wonderful evening with everyone dressed in their very best, the class of 2026 put on their dancing shoes, enjoyed some incredible magic and shared their final farewells to the school they have called home - many for the last 7 years!

It was also fantastic to welcome so many parents and other family members who joined us in celebrating our Upper Sixth.

With A Level Results Day now just two weeks away, we hope our 2026 leavers are having a fantastic summer. We cannot wait to welcome them back on Results Day and, in the years ahead, as alumni at one of our many alumni events.

Prior has broken up for the summer, but the campus is anything but quiet.

After a year filled with academic achievement, co-curricular opportunities, sporting fixtures, performances and the daily rhythm of school life, the campus enters a different season.

From holiday clubs to weddings and special events, these historic grounds continue to welcome people every day.

The mansion on the hill - the enduring legacy of Ralph Allen - never truly sleeps. Each season brings new faces, new experiences, and another chapter in the life within its walls.

Saturday’s official Leavers’ Ceremony photographs are in, and what a wonderful memory they hold of a day celebrating our departing Upper 6th, their successes and growth through their time with the College, reflecting on their years with us and on Prior Park as a community.

In the words of Mr Blaikley: ‘Prior Park is more than a school, it is a home, and no matter where you are in the world, what you are doing, and what you are going through, this is your family, and it too is a bond that cannot be broken.’

And while those words will stay with our leavers, so too, perhaps, will a certain Headmaster’s rendition of Wonderwall.

Have a wonderful summer!

Just So Junior Musical Production 🎭🐘🦀

Congratulations to the talented cast of L3-F4 students who took to the stage last week after months of rehearsals to perform their brilliant musical ‘Just So’, bringing together five of Kipling’s famous tales and exploring themes of courage, individuality, and friendship.

As Prior’s first Junior Musical in several years, the production was a fantastic opportunity for students across the year groups to get involved, build confidence, and form new friendships through this experience.
