"The HFM techniques I employ will benefit me throughout my career, I only wish I had attended this course years ago! My practice has developed so much since introducing the HF techniques, it is totally different.

Grateful for your career path

Looking back, what unexpected twist in your career are you grateful for?

I am grateful for Darien! Not only did he help me learn Hands Free back in 2009, which enabled me to make sure I can massage for as long as possible. But meeting him and falling in love with HFM so much that I asked him if he ever needed an assistant to call me. He did so in 2010, and that put me on a totally different unexpected path.

How do you reply to humbling reviews?

Last week I got this review from a massage client 'Leora is a true expert in bodywork'.

I have to admit, reading those words made me blush. I felt incredibly grateful for such a compliment (and for my lovely client)... and a little uncomfortable too!

It got me wondering... when someone gives you such high praise, how do you respond?

Do you simply say "Thank you"? Do you downplay it? Or do you fully accept the compliment?

I'd love to hear how you handle it.

A great learning experience is about more than what you learn. How the course is structured matters too.✨

Grateful for rest

How has rest improved your practice?

It's always nice to have a busy practice. Alongside that, in this day and age 'busyness' can be glorified. But rest is equally important.

I'm grateful for rest and for my husband who taught me the art of chillaxing... something I always felt guilty about!!!
