🚽✨ Potty Training Tips & Tricks! ✨🚽
Potty training is a big milestone, and every child gets there in their own time. Look out for signs they're ready, keep things positive, and remember that accidents are all part of the learning journey. Celebrate every success, encourage regular potty visits, choose easy-to-manage clothing, and make it fun with stories, songs, and lots of praise. Most importantly, be patient and consistentβ€”confidence grows with encouragement! πŸ’™

Here are our top tips to support your little one:
🚽 Look for signs of readiness – Staying dry for longer, showing interest in the toilet, or letting you know when their nappy is wet or dirty.
😊 Keep it positive – Celebrate every success and praise their effort.
⏰ Offer regular potty trips – Encourage sitting on the potty every 1–2 hours, after meals, and before leaving the house.
πŸ‘– Choose easy clothing – Elastic waistbands make it easier for children to be independent.
πŸ“š Use stories and role play – Books, dolls, and teddies can make learning fun and familiar.
πŸ’§ Encourage plenty of drinks – This gives children more opportunities to recognise when they need the toilet.
🧻 Teach good hygiene – Practise wiping, flushing, and washing hands together.
πŸ† Reward encouragement, not perfection – Stickers, high fives, and kind words help build confidence.
🀝 Stay consistent – A similar routine at home and nursery can make all the difference.
πŸ’› Expect accidents – They are a normal part of learning. Stay calm, reassure your child, and try again next time.
