What an incredible first year it has been! We are now a year on and we have been on an amazing journey together that has been very successful. Highlights of the year include:

The opening of our Library
Our first ever Sports Day
The first ever School Trip to Finkley Down Farm
A wonderful Summer Fete
We must also mention the partnership with Dummer Parish Council which has allowed us to have our brand new state of the art Learning Garden and Outdoor Forestry Circuit that the children will enjoy for years to come.

A year ago, we were a building with a vision.
Today, we are a thriving school community with

As our founding families, you will always hold a
unique place in Hounsome Fields’ history.

This year we were incredibly lucky to have had our reception garden completely redesigned and built by - this was in collaboration with Dummer Parish Council. 💜

The children have been loving their new playgrounds and we so excited to show off their new space and learning environment during our grand opening last week 🦔

As we get closer to the end of our first school year with our lovely hedgehogs, we’ve been looking back on our exciting learning journey this year and creating keepsakes for our families to remember our little hands 🦔🫶🏼💜

Today we had our first ever school trip at Hounsome Fields Primary School!

Hedgehogs went on a trip to Finkley Down Farm! 🐄

We had so much fun seeing all the animals, exploring the soft play and having fun on the playground! 🛝

Hounsome Fields first ever summer fete is taking place today - 3:30pm till 5:30pm 💜✨🫶🏼

Come and join the fun - we’ve got food, games, crafts and a climbing wall! ✨

We’re excited to announce that we are planning our very first Summer Fete at Hounsome Fields Primary School!

📅 Friday 3rd July
⏰ From 3:30pm (after school)

We’re currently inviting local businesses and stallholders to be part of this special community event. If you’d like to showcase and sell your products to local families, we’d love to hear from you!

We already have some fantastic attractions lined up, including face painting and glitter tattoos, with plenty more fun to come. 🎨✨
