Easter excitement is in full bloom at Pinecones 🐣

We’ve been hopping into the season with some lovely activities. The children have really enjoyed story time with We’re Going on an Egg Hunt and I Love You, Honey Bunny - two perfect books to welcome spring and all its magic.

We took our creativity outdoors with some Easter-themed painting, making the most of the fresh air and sunshine. We’ve also been admiring the beautiful daffodils and getting our hands messy playing with flowers in the mud using our gardening tools.

And of course, no springtime fun is complete without some splashing! We’ve been exploring water play with floating spring flowers - so much sensory fun and discovery!

Here’s to brighter days, blooming gardens, and lots of little giggles. Happy Easter everyone 🪺🐰💐

🌸Spring has sprung at Stepping Stones🌸
We kicked off our Easter adventures with a magical spring-themed setup. The children have been exploring colourful straw, meeting our adorable bunny friends, and getting hands-on with daffodils and a beautiful spring storybook.

One little gardener even enjoyed watering the flowers! We also created a fun painting station using cling film and cotton buds, where the children made their own spring-themed masterpieces - all while soaking up the lovely spring sunshine.

It’s been a joyful time full of sensory play, creativity, and the wonders of the season! Wishing you all a lovely Easter weekend 🐰🐣

Easter Fun at Maples 🐣
We’ve had such a lovely time celebrating Easter with a whole host of fun, creative, and meaningful activities!

The children decorated our very own Easter Egg Tree, a wonderful activity that supported their fine motor development and gave our space a seasonal sparkle.

Little hands got busy making Easter-themed shortbread biscuits! The children weighed out their ingredients, used rolling pins and cutters to shape their bakes, and added icing once they were out of the oven - they looked (and smelt) amazing.

Of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without an Easter Egg Hunt! The children had a blast searching high and low for colourful surprises.

We also got creative with our very own Easter eggs, decorating pebbles using soft pastel paints and chalk to create beautiful, unique designs. And our Easter-themed Play-Doh invitation was a big hit..complete with loose parts and chick-shaped cutters for open-ended, imaginative play.

Have a scroll through our photos to see all the fun we’ve been having — Happy Easter from all of us at Maples 🥕🐰

The sunshine gave us plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, and we’ve loved every minute of it! Here are some of our favourite snapshots from the month 🌟
