🐉 Dungeons & Dragons Club Goes From Strength to Strength! 🎲

What an incredible turnout for our Dungeons & Dragons Co-Curricular Club! We had a record-breaking 44 students attend the latest session - an amazing achievement and a fantastic reflection of the enthusiasm for the club.

A huge special mention to Mr Holloway for his enthusiasm, energy and commitment in making the Dungeons & Dragons club happen. His passion for creating exciting opportunities for our students is helping the club be a success! 👏

Whether you're already a seasoned adventurer or have never rolled a D20 before, there’s always room for more! 🐲⚔️

📸🎬 Lights, Camera, Action! Year 9 Media Studies in Focus!

Our Year 9 Media Studies students have been putting their learning into action with Mr Elsom, getting hands-on with cameras and experimenting with a variety of camera shots and angles they have previously learnt.

From close-ups to long shots, our budding media stars have been exploring how different shots and angles can bring a story to life, capture the viewer’s attention and create different effects.

It’s wonderful to see our students developing their creativity, building confidence and putting their skills to the test. Who knows, we might have some future photographers, filmmakers or media professionals in the making! 🌟

Well done, Year 9 – we can’t wait to see what you create next! 👏

☕💚 A little bit of cake, a lot of kindness! 💚☕

Our staff came together at breaktime today for our Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

There were some absolutely delicious offerings available and we’d like to say a huge thank you to all our staff for their generous donations of cakes and generous donations to buy them! 🍰🧁💚

It was lovely to see everyone coming together enjoying a slice of something delicious and a chance to catch up, all while raising money for such an important cause.

A very special SHOUT OUT to Mrs McClure for organising everything and bringing us all together! 👏💚

We’ll be counting up the pennies and pounds, so watch this space to find out how much our amazing staff have raised this year! 👀💰
