👣🧭This weekend, we want to wish the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) students all for the best on their qualifying expedition near Wi******er. We hope they have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Last term, our Year 9 and 10 Bronze DofE students completed their practical expedition at Rushall Farm near Reading, where they developed teamwork, navigation and campcraft skills in preparation for their assessed expedition.
Mrs Jarman, Head of Geography and DofE co-ordinator, said:
“The students did an amazing job, impressing the instructors with their enthusiasm, effort and willingness to learn new skills.”

We look forward to seeing their photos!

The Blue Coat School is an allergy aware school. Please look at the key information, and share this with your young people to make sure items brought into school do not put those with allergies at risk.

Benedict Blyth was aged 5 when he tragically lost his life due to a known milk allergy reaction during the school day in 2021. Due to the work of his parents, new legislation came into effect this month in the form of Benedict’s Law, which we have been preparing for at TBCS for some time.

If you have any questions about the new information please contact our Allergy Lead Mrs Floyd or our Welfare Officer Mrs Manners.
