Father’s Day can bring many different emotions.

For some, it’s a day of celebration, gratitude and making memories. For others, it may be a reminder of someone deeply missed, a difficult relationship, or a future that looks different to what was hoped for.

Whatever today means for you, your feelings are valid. πŸ’œ

As we mark both Father’s Day and Men's Health Week, it’s a reminder that connection matters. A conversation, a message, a check-in, or simply letting someone know you’re thinking of them can make a real difference.

If today feels difficult, please remember you don’t have to carry it alone. Reach out, talk to someone you trust, and know that support is available.

🐝 Our Year 10 learners did an amazing job this week helping to organise and hang their beeautiful artwork for an exhibition at the The Willis Museum and Sainsbury Gallery.

Inspired by 'Bees! Hampshire's Hive of History & Nature', this special exhibition showcases artwork created by pupils from Inclusion School, exploring the importance of bees through creativity, learning and self-expression.

A huge thank you to our fantastic staff team who supported the learners throughout the project and helped bring the exhibition to life.

There is something incredibly special about seeing our learners' creativity, talent and hard work displayed in a public gallery for the wider community to enjoy. We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved.

The Inclusion School Bee Exhibition opens on 20th June and runs until 12th July. If you're in the area, we'd love for you to visit and see the wonderful work on display, entry is free.

This week marks both **Loneliness Awareness Week** and **Men's Health Week**.

Loneliness can affect anyone, regardless of age, background or circumstance. It's not always visible, and it's not always about being alone.

Research from the BBC Loneliness Experiment found that around 40% of 16–24-year-olds reported feeling lonely, while many men continue to find it difficult to talk openly about their mental health.

Connection, belonging and trusted relationships matter.

This week, let's take a moment to check in with someone, start a conversation, and remind people they don't have to face things alone.

πŸŽπŸ’œ Happy Thank a Teacher Day πŸ’œπŸŽ

Today is all about recognising the incredible teachers, tutors, mentors and support staff who make a difference every single day.

Across Inclusion Education, learners have been taking part in Thank a Teacher Day activities, sharing messages of appreciation and gratitude with the people who have supported, encouraged and believed in them.

A simple thank you can mean so much. Whether it's for helping someone overcome a challenge, celebrating a success, or simply being there when it matters most, today is an opportunity to recognise the impact that education professionals have on the lives of young people.

To all our teachers, tutors, mentors and wider teams – thank you for your dedication, compassion and commitment. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Sometimes the most important conversations are the ones we don't always have.

This Men's Health Week, we're encouraging everyone to check in with the men in their lives and help create spaces where it's okay to talk openly about mental health.

A conversation might seem small, but it could make a huge difference.

πŸ’œ Let's keep breaking down stigma and reminding people that support is always available.

The Milburn Review shines an important spotlight on the growing number of young people who are not in education, employment or training.

At Inclusion Education, we welcome the focus on opportunity, inclusion and the barriers too many young people continue to face. We also believe lasting change requires a more joined-up approach across education, employment, health and community support.

Our latest blog shares our response to the review, including what we feel it gets right, where further action is needed, and why inclusive education must remain central to the conversation.

A huge thank you to the Romsey Ukulele Group for their generous donation of ukuleles to Inclusion School Aldershot 🎢

Thanks to their generosity, our learners will now have the opportunity to take part in a new Ukulele Club, exploring music, building confidence and developing new skills along the way.

We know how powerful music can be in supporting wellbeing, self-expression and connection, and we're excited to see the positive impact this will have on our young people.
