🌱 Project Iris: Summer Reflections | Week 3
"I feel safe and accepted at Project Iris. I feel at ease coming here with nature and people that listen to me."
Sometimes our young people say it better than we ever could.
Feeling safe, accepted and heard is at the heart of Project Iris, creating a space to connect, talk and simply be yourself.
We're so proud to receive feedback like this. 💜🌱

Every young person’s journey is different and the support they receive should reflect that.
A new Department for Education evidence review reinforces an important message: there is no single intervention that works for every child or young person with SEMH needs or autism.
Positive outcomes depend on understanding the individual, removing barriers and creating an environment in which they feel safe, heard and accepted.
In our latest blog, we explore what the findings mean for families and why relationships, belonging and personalised support are so important.
Because when young people feel seen, supported and safe in education, we don’t just change their future we help secure it.

🌱 Project Iris: Summer Reflections | Week 2
92% of young people who attend their first Project Iris session return for a second.
To us, that's more than a number.
It means young people are finding a place where they feel safe, listened to and supported and that's something we're incredibly proud of.
Every session is another opportunity to build confidence, strengthen connections and grow hope together.
Thank you to everyone who helps make Project Iris such a special place. 💜🌱

As another academic year at Project Iris comes to a close, we're taking a moment to reflect. 💜🌱
Behind every session, every conversation and every smile is a young person discovering they don't have to face life's challenges alone.
Over the summer, we'll be sharing our Project Iris: Summer Reflections – celebrating the stories, outcomes and voices behind the project, and the incredible impact that can happen when young people feel seen, safe and supported.
💙 One final favour... If you're visiting any Tesco in Basingstoke before Friday, please vote for Project Iris in the Tesco Stronger Starts blue token scheme. Every blue token helps us continue creating safe spaces where young people can connect, grow and thrive.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Project Iris this year. We look forward to sharing more with you over the coming weeks. 💜🌱

We’re so proud to have been part of the Baton of Hope Tour and honoured to receive this award. 💙
The Tour may have passed through Basingstoke, but its legacy lives on through Hope Basingstoke, where we’re continuing to bring people together, spark conversations, and remind everyone that hope and help are always here.
Thank you to everyone who continues to be part of this journey. 💙
Last week we mentioned that two of our Locations had recently won awards for their work on our UK-wide su***de prevention & awareness initiative. Here, we're congratulating Team Basingstoke.
Representatives from Inclusion Education were awarded the Community Project Award at the Basingstoke A Place to be Proud of Awards in June for their work for the Tour. Judges described the project as “an inspiring community movement that provided a vital voice for individuals during their darkest moments”.
Project Lead, Marie Greenhalgh, said on accepting the award: "Thank you so much. The Baton of Hope Tour was one of the most important and powerful things I have ever done. If it stopped one person feeling alone and there’s no hope then it was worth all of it. To anyone who feels alone, there is hope and there is help."
Congratulations Team Basingstoke - we're so grateful for all of your hard work. 💙
