This week we have welcomed our Dads, Grandads, Uncles, or any important person to our children, into the setting for Father’s Day🏆.

The children enjoyed having their special person in for a ‘stay and play session’. What a brilliant way for the children to explore our Nursery environment with their special person.

It was so lovely watching our guests get involved and spending time at Milly’s!

The children handed their guest a handmade card and little gift. Just a little something to show how much we appreciate them.

Happy St George's Day!
The children at Milly's Nursery have enjoyed a range of activities to celebrate St George's Day. They crafted their own shields, explored a red and white sensory tray, and painted the English flag. Additionally, they built castles using building blocks/boxes and learnt all about St George, immersing themselves in both creative and educational experiences.

🌍 Happy Earth Day 🌍. Today, to celebrate Earth Day with our children at Milly's Nursery, we took part in a variety of activities focused on caring for the environment and promoting sustainability. We began by collecting rubbish from the local area, helping to keep our surroundings clean and teaching the importance of not littering. Afterwards, we planted sunflowers together, encouraging biodiversity and brightening up our garden. We also discussed the value of not wasting water, making sure to use only what we needed throughout the day. These activities helped our children understand how small actions can make a big difference in protecting the planet for future generations!

Today the children at Milly's Nursery School started the day by making some Easter cards.
During the day we handed out 20 cards to members of the public - everyone was very grateful for their card!
We explained to the children that handing out cards would make people happy (a random act of kindness). We hope all those who received a card liked them😊.
