I am SO excited to finally announce that we have a brand-new class launching this September – ADVANCED DANCE!
Dance is such an important part of musical theatre training. Strong dance technique, strength, coordination and the ability to confidently pick up choreography can make an enormous difference to a young performer (particularly as they progress towards auditions, further training and professional opportunities).
Advanced Dance will launch on Saturday 5th September and will run every Saturday from 9.00–10.00am for students aged 9–18. The price of the class is £9.50.
Students will work on a variety of dance styles and techniques, explore different types of choreography, improve core strength, fitness, flexibility and stamina, and develop their ability to pick up and retain choreography quickly.
We’ll also be introducing dance audition technique – helping students understand what to expect in a professional dance call, how to approach learning choreography under pressure and, importantly, how to walk into an audition room with confidence.
My aim is for this class to give our students another really important layer to their training.
Bring on the 5th September! 💃🏼🕺🏼✨
