Sam's West Coast Swing

29/09/2026

Hello! I'm back from another weekend of dancing and learning with people from around the world.

A reminder that tomorrow Weds (30th) is the last week of the month so will be a freestyle with no class just music and dancing.

Classes run on Wednesdays 20:00-22:30 in Creative Emporium, Upper Level, Festival Place Shopping Centre, Basingstoke, RG21 7BE apart from the last week of the month where there is a party/freestyle with no class.

Message me if you want more information ☺️

Thank you Mike Rosa for covering while I was away. I'm back this week full of ice cream and grateful for the cooler climate.

Anyone who is considering it, I'd strongly recommend a weekend event if you can, the next one is MSO which is near Heathrow at the end of September. They have cleared the follower waiting list and released day passes, message me for more info.

Each year a choreographed West Coast Swing routine is released that people learn and perform around the world.

I am teaching some of the trickier moves (to help people who want to do the West Coast Swing "rally"/flashmob and because they are nice moves 😉).

There is a breakdown of all the moves that make up the routine here:

And a demo to music here:
