Here at Linguatastic, the team are all friends, but of course, we also hope to foster life-long friendships among our little ones and new bonds among the older generations.

Please share your stories about friendships you have made through Linguatastic or maybe new friends you have made because of being able to speak another language!

Do you speak German and want to meet other German speakers? If so, there is a group of students who have come to Basingstoke from Germany to gain some work experience and would be keen to meet you tomorrow early evening at the Tavern-Gaming Café.

We'll be on stage, encouraging people to get involved at 2.30pm. Hope to see you there!

This time last week, lots of us were dressed up as "Lingua-Bots"! The theme of Old Basing & Lychpit Carnival the year was "Toys Come Alive" and as always, we were trying to also tie it in with languages/internationalism! There were some really great costumes made and good fun had in the parade. Well done and thanks to everybody involved, both within Linguatastic and the carnival volunteers.
