We are a family owned company and pride ourselves on offering caring and nurturing environments for “little ones” in our nurseries. We appreciate the challenges faced by parents to leave their children at nursery, and we have used our own experiences to ensure our nurseries are clean, safe and welcoming. The holistic care of children at nursery is largely dependent on a good relationship and communication between nursery staff and parents. Therefore, we endeavour to work in partnership with parents and keep them informed of all aspects of their child’s well being and progress at nursery. Our managers operate an open door policy and are always happy to talk with parents regarding any issues or concerns. Our nurseries:

•open from 07.30am – 18.30pm, 51 weeks per year

•provide care for children aged 3 months to 5 years

•prepare freshly cooked meals on site

•are registered for government funding for 2 and 3-5 year olds

•accept childcare vouchers from most providers

•include nappies, wipes, milk and formula milk within the fees

•provide a range of “all inclusive activities” from external companies within the fees

Today we had a special visit from Hampshire Healthy Heroes, who came to talk to some of our Preschool children about the importance of oral health, healthy eating, being physically active and looking after our wellbeing. 🦷🍎🏃‍♀️💚
The session started with lots of fun as the children sang rhymes and identified different healthy fruits and vegetables to feed the hungry puppets! 🍓🥕🍌
The children then took part in a variety of interactive activities. They learned all about brushing their teeth, the importance of using toothpaste and how different-sized toothbrushes can help keep our teeth clean. They even had a go at scrubbing the teeth until the timer ran out! 🪥⏰
Next, the children practised recognising healthy and unhealthy foods, sorting them into two different categories. 🍎🍕🥦
To finish the session, everyone got active with some fun physical exercises, helping us learn how important it is to keep our bodies moving and healthy. 🏃‍♂️🤸‍♀️

Thank you to all the grandparents who came to have breakfast with us.

We enjoyed a juicy fruit salad, along with delicious croissants and cereals.🍎🍊🥣🥐
After breakfast, the children enjoyed colouring in some pictures, which they were able to take home to share with their families along side taking part in some messy activities.

We hope everyone enjoyed the morning!

This week, preschool has been learning all about people who help us, with a special focus on the emergency services and the important jobs they do.
As a fun way to explore the role of firefighters, the children made their very own fireman jelly! 🚒🔥
The children prepared the fruit using strawberries, 🍓 oranges 🍊 and peaches, 🍑 practising their knife skills and learning how to cut the fruit safely. They then carefully poured over the strawberry jelly and enjoyed giving it a big sniff, talking about all the delicious and tasty smells.

What an exciting day today! 🐍🕷️🐌🐸

Our Preschool and Toddler children had a visit from ZooLab and they the chance to meet some animals up close! The children were so brave and excited and learnt a lot of facts from the animal’s.

There were lots of smiles, questions, and even some very gentle touching as the children explored the different animals.

A huge thank you to ZooLab for such an interactive and memorable experience — we loved every minute of it! 💚

Today we celebrated Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪

Across all of our rooms, the children enjoyed learning about baking skills, including measuring ingredients, mixing, rolling, and pressing dough. The children had lots of fun developing their fine motor skills, following simple instructions, and exploring different textures and ingredients.

A huge thank you to all of our parents for your kind donations. We raised £21.23!

🌟 Preschool Sports Day 2026 🌟

What a fantastic Sports Day we had! 🏅☀️

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents and families who came along to cheer on the children. Your support and encouragement made the day even more special. 💙

Our preschoolers had so much fun taking part in a variety of exciting activities, including:
🏀 Basketball
🎯 Bean Bag Throw
🎾 Tennis
⚽ Football
⭕ Hula Hoops
🌈 Balance Beams
🟡 4 in a Row

The children showed amazing enthusiasm, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. We are so proud of every single one of them for trying their best, encouraging their friends and having lots of fun!

Thank you again for helping make our Preschool Sports Day such a memorable event.

🎓 Happy Graduation Day to our Preschool Class of 2026! 🎓

What an incredible group of children we have had the pleasure of watching grow, learn and flourish during their time at Little Me.

Today, we celebrated not only their achievements but also the wonderful journey they have been on. We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing children and their families for being part of the Little Me community. It has been a privilege to be part of your early years journey.

We wish each and every one of our graduates the very best as they begin their exciting new adventures at school. We know you will all continue to shine and make us proud. ⭐

A big thank you to all the families who joined us today to celebrate this special milestone. Your support means so much to the children and our team.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our Preschool team for all of their hard work, dedication and care in preparing the children for today and for supporting them throughout the year. Your commitment has helped make this day so special.

It’s been a chocolate-filled day! 🍫

Our babies had great fun making tasty chocolate Rice Krispie treats topped with colourful sprinkles. The toddlers created yummy chocolate spread rolls, while our preschool children decorated chocolate biscuits with plenty of sprinkles.

Alongside our tasty creations, the children took part in chocolate-themed activities. They practised their mark making and tracing skills using "chocolate," and let their imaginations run wild in our chocolate café, creating and serving their own delicious pretend chocolate treats.

Thank you to the parents that have made a donations towards MCKS.
