“I just don’t have the time.”
“My body’s changed as I’ve got older.”
“I don’t want to live on chicken and broccoli.”
“Taking time for myself feels selfish.”
I hear versions of these all the time.
And here’s the thing — some of them are completely understandable.
Your body does change as you get older.
Life does get busier.
Your energy might not be what it was at 25.
And no, you shouldn’t have to give up meals out, family time or the foods you enjoy just to get healthier.
But none of that means you’re stuck.
You don’t need to train 6 days a week.
You don’t need a perfect diet.
You don’t need hours of cardio.
And you definitely don’t need to punish yourself for getting out of shape.
What you need is a plan that works with your life now.
A couple of well-structured strength sessions.
Better everyday food choices.
More movement.
Enough protein.
And consistency — not perfection.
Because looking after yourself isn’t selfish.
You can’t pour from an empty cup.
If you’re over 40 and you’ve been telling yourself you need to “get fitter first” before walking into a gym or speaking to a PT…
You don’t. That’s what I’m here for.
