Hi Guys, it's Ian here, its been brought to my attention this morning that a booking agency have been misrepresenting themselves.
I will not give the name due to the possible litigation/action we are seriously considering taking.
A booking agent is advertising they have a training site in Basingstoke and illuding to the fact we are affiliated, I have just had to deal with a very upset gentleman that has turned up to be trained and he has been given our address by this booking agent, having taken a substantial amount of money from him. I will be 100% clear here. We are the ONLY MOT training centre in Basingstoke to my knowledge, if you book with us you will only ever deal with:
Ian Page Pete Wootton Malcolm Wishart or Louise Page 98% of our bookings are over the phone, and in truth you are highly likely to deal with me directly.
Be careful there are some really nasty pieces of work out there!!

So, I am looking for a trained MOT tester who has a good knowledge of all things MOT, would need to be confident and comfortable standing up in front of people and have a passion for road safety, in return you'll get 4 weeks paid leave a year, the opportunity to join a company pension scheme (after a qualifying period) and a starting salary of £32,000. It's been another busy week and we have sent another group of testers on their journey.
June is such a busy month for us and we like it that way!!😅

So, almost a wrap for the week, and what a week its been. We have successfully trained up more MOT managers, we have assessed and awarded technicians there light vehicle inspection accreditations.🥇🥇🏆🏆🥇. We have conducted 5 on site inspections and written all of the reports up 📝📝📝.No time to rest either today as we embark on a day of mot tester sign offs.💥💥💥🚗🚕🚙🪛🔧🔨. Good afternoon guys, we've been racking our brains on how to make it clearer for you guys to book our courses.
Very shortly dates for both Nominated Tester and MOT managers courses will be posted out until Christmas on our website.🎅🎅🎅. Logistically its more sensible to keep ATA accreditations being conducted by appointment, as will all Electric/Hybrid training courses.⚡️⚡️⚡️

It starts again, lets do MOT's after the first 4 years, and then every 2 after, for clarity in case a certain idiot is looking at these again, its not the same vehicle"!!!!! These are legitimate defects from vehicles at annual test, the only thing the extension of time periods is going to do is create a lot of fixed penalty notices on the roadside, and its not a case of if it will cause a fatality sadly just when it will happen, there is not one road safety organisation backing the proposals, I've not heard any of the professional people I deal with on a day to day basis that think its a good idea.
