After I had to do a sewing repair on a toy, little one was fascinated and wanted to learn how to sew. Using a piece of thick carboard (and some dodgy cutting on my part) we practiced sewing/threading using a spare shoe lace.

This morning’s activity was getting the garden toys clean and ready for Spring 🚓🌤️
It always amazes me how some sponges and a bowl of warm soapy water can keep toddlers entertained for so long, they had so much fun!🤩

Keeping it simple but fun with some pasta necklaces. The children practiced their pincer grips and hand-eye coordination to thread pasta onto their string and then chose to decorate their necklaces, with glitter glue 🌈

I have a little announcement... I've won an award as South West England's Best Childcare Provider of the Year 🥳
A few months ago, I was nominated for Best Childcare Provider of the Year in the South West England area. I was up against numerous nurseries, childminders, and other nannies, so honestly didn't think I'd even get shortlisted. But a few days ago I got a call, and I've won! 🏆
