Yellow bees childminding ,Brighton hill

We had a lovely day visiting the zoo in the sunshine.

Today we rescued a bumble bee in the garden .
The children enjoyed watching the bee and were very good at helping me keep it safe.
It drank some water from the bee hydration station that we had previously made and eventually flew away.

A great real life experience for the children that we will discuss further and develop into our activities this week. 🐝 🐝

The children made flapjacks for fathers day gifts

On Friday I held a coffee and chat morning for the lovely mummy's of the children who attend Yellow Bees childminding. 🐝

Its always good to have some time to meet the other mums and children in a relaxed environment.

It was our anual Yellow Bees marwell zoo trip on Saturday.
Unfortunately the weather was a bit rainy in the afternoon but a few of us braved it and had a fun time .

One of the children has a big interest in dinosaurs and I like to incorporate children's individual interests and needs in our daily activities.

This encourages self esteem, confidence and lots of communication and language whilst providing an opportunity for the children to learn more about their interests.

The children were very excited to make cheese and tomato dinosaurs 🦕.
