Yellow bees childminding ,Brighton hill

On Friday I held a coffee and chat morning for the lovely mummy's of the children who attend Yellow Bees childminding. 🐝

Its always good to have some time to meet the other mums and children in a relaxed environment.

It was our anual Yellow Bees marwell zoo trip on Saturday.
Unfortunately the weather was a bit rainy in the afternoon but a few of us braved it and had a fun time .

One of the children has a big interest in dinosaurs and I like to incorporate children's individual interests and needs in our daily activities.

This encourages self esteem, confidence and lots of communication and language whilst providing an opportunity for the children to learn more about their interests.

The children were very excited to make cheese and tomato dinosaurs 🦕.

The children have enjoyed sorting colours , weighing and counting .
Lots of skills developed in all areas of learning : taking turns, communication and language, number recognition, colour recognition, counting , fine and gross motor skills .
