Fabulous start to June! Stand out moments in the first week include...Celebrating a birthday, Messy Play group, a beautiful walk and a visit to a play park 😊

Great times had at recent Fun Friday sessions 😀

Two new parks visited in the last week...we do love to explore new places! We were impressed with both and will definitely be visiting them again 😄

This week is Childminding Week!

Childminders provide a home from home experience for children. A place to learn and grow amongst friends. An extended family. We offer more individualised care and attention and build strong relationships with our families. We can follow a child's interests and plan activities around them, whilst also exploring the world we live in.

Please keep supporting childminders so that parents have choice when considering their childcare options.

Today's learning adventure took us to a local park. We practised walking safely through the car park, rolling down hills and climbing up a steep bank. Identified different flowers we found, including buttercups and dandelions. One of the goalposts still had the net attached, so we discussed how it was made up of lots of square shapes. We then moved onto the community orchard, read the sign and tried to find the different fruit trees. Everyone was delighted to find several apple, pear and plum trees! We then followed the tree lined path and noted how "massive" the trees were, extending our vocabulary with words like giant, huge and big. We discussed what the trees roots were for and how the bark is like skin for the tree. Between the children they were able to tell me the parts of the tree and how rough the trunk felt. We ended our visit at the play park where the little ones got to practise even more of their physical skills and really work up an appetite for lunch!

Starting to hit me how much I'm going to miss these two 😢 having such a lovely day with my two big girls!

One more term to enjoy before they move on to Preschool and Big School 😭

Easily the worst bit about this job is how quickly they grow up and leave! Lots of happy memories with all of the little ones that pass through though which makes it amazing too 🥰
