We all had a lovely time at our end of term party today, lots of fun hunting for eggs in the garden to go in the baskets we made.
We had two birthdays to celebrate today, one turning 4 and the other '5' apparently (we might have to do some work on bigger !!!)
Hope all our Little Steps friends have a lovely Easter and we will see everyone back on Monday 13th April.

We can now show you what we were busy doing in the week before Mothering Sunday.
We planted the extras in our garden.

A busy week exploring shape, size and pattern with the Montessori sensorial materials. The children were excited by their achievements, working by themselves or in small groups.

A great week learning about Chinese new year, doing lots of crafts and having a special snack of spring rolls snd prawn crackers.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the result of our recent Ofsted inspection.
The inspection followed the new frame work:-
Achievement - STRONG Standard- Children make excellent progress in all areas.
Behaviour, Attitudes - STRONG Standard - Children develop strong sense of self and a respect for each other and the adults who care for them.
Welfare and Wellbeing - STRONG standard - The strong relationships that staff model with parents show children that they are safe and cared for.
Curriculum and Teaching - STRONG standard - Ambitious curriculum that supports all children.
Inclusion - STRONG standard - They prioritise inclusion to develop and provide an environment that celebrates and recognises children's individual needs and abilities.

Safeguarding - MET - An open culture in which safeguarding is everyones responsibility, as a result children are made safer and feel safe.
STRONG in EVERY area.

Little Steps will NOT be running a Summer Holiday Club this year. i would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support over many years.

CLOSED! Unfortunately due to a problem with the heating we are unable to get the Nursery up to a suitable temperature for the children. We are hoping to get back to normal tomorrow!

Having had some people drop out of our paediatric first aid course this Friday at Berrydown sports ground in Overton, we do have spaces available for you to learn some potentially life saving skills.
