🍓 A reminder that our caterers are now Caterlink and the attached is the Rucstall menu.

🥕 Children still order in school, but please make sure you have spoken to them in advance about their options to help the adjustment.

💷 Meals are free for children in Years R, 1 and 2. They cost £3, paid on Parentmail in advance of ordering.

If your child has dietary needs, please contact the school office next week if you have not made arrangements already.

With only one more week until children prepare to return to school, we hope families have had a good rest and time together.

We look forward to welcoming our new EYFS pupils in their transition groups from the Monday afterwards. With Thursday and Friday individual school visits.

Information and reminders about uniforms and equipment are on the website and in the July newsletter to help.

School may be closed but there is still care to be taken of our fantastic grounds. 🌿

After several years of trying, we've finally got summer strawberries and beautiful lemon balm flowering in our Early Years garden. 🍓🍋

Tomorrow will be my final day at Rucstall as its Headteacher! It has been a wonderful seven years of developing this fantastic school into an Outstanding provider of educational excellence. I couldn't be prouder of what we have achieved together.

Thank you to the Rucstall community of parents, community members, St Mary's Church and Governors for all your support! Thank you to staff and pupils for a fantastic assembly last week - videos will be posted on the website tomorrow.

Tomorrow I turn the tables to thank our staff for their ongoing hard work and support! As well as spending some final hours with the children of Rucstall, who make it such a wonderful place to be. Treats will be enjoyed all round!
