We are so excited to introduce our new Nursery Manager, Jamie, to the Second Steps family.

“ I am delighted to introduce myself as your new Nursery Manager. It is a privilege to be joining the nursery and have the opportunity to support your children during these important first years.
I have worked in Early Years for 22 years and have been a nursery manager for 18. I have a strong passion for early childhood education and I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can thrive. Building strong relationships with families is important, and I look forward to getting to know you all.”

Each of our Second Steps Day Nursery settings is full of creativity, curiosity, and joyful moments, and now you can see even more of what our little learners get up to every day.

What an amazing collaboration between parents and staff! It all started with a chat in the nursery garden about different types of messy and creative play we do at home. It then came up that one of our walls was in need of a bit of TLC and decoration. One of our wonderful parents suggested working together on this challenge and came up with the theme of recycling - especially the care we need to take of our oceans. Thank you so much for all your donations of recycling materials - we were blown away!
However, just typical we chose two of the rainiest days to put it all together - we got drenched! 😂
But it was all worth it to see the results! Thank you once again to our wonderful families for all your help on this. ♻️💚🌊
