The Acorns had a fantastic start to our Superheroes topic during our Hook Day! The children arrived full of excitement and enthusiasm, ready to become superheroes for the day. We took part in a range of fun activities including arts and crafts in the hall, designing our own superhero accessories, and even completing a superhero training course outside. The children also had the chance to dress up in their amazing costumes and show them off in our own catwalk. It was a wonderful day full of creativity, teamwork, and imagination, and a great way to launch our learning about real-life superheroes!

Year 2 have been enjoying their art lessons this week ! They developed their clay techniques by kneading and rolling the clay. They were able to use a range of tools to carve symbols into the clay to communicate different meanings.

Last week, we celebrated aspiration day and the children were able to dress up as who they aspire to be when they are older . There were so many brilliant outfits and careers .
