Carrying on with our under the sea theme this week. We have spoke about the sea and how waves work, using water and oil.
We have also made our own blue playdough and created our own beach/sea theme, which everyone really enjoyed!

And today, we have had gelli baff to create our own sea and spoke about the different fish and animals that live in the sea.

Enjoying this theme so much.

Our theme for this week is under the sea. The children really enjoyed making their own rainbow fish today. We read the book 'under the sea' everyone took it in turns to lift the flap to see what sea creature was inside.

The children also built their own jurassic world train track with the dinosaurs. Really impressed with their set up, this was with no input from me!

This week and next week have been about the life cycle of a butterfly.
The children have absolutely loved watching the caterpillars turn into a chrysalis and are so excited for their butterflies!
We have made our own butterflies, coloured a picture of a butterfly. Had a lovely rice tray set up to hunt butterflies and watched a video on the lfie cycle of a butterfly 🐛🦋

Our story today was ' were going on a bear hunt'
I hid some teddy bears round the house for them to hunt down.
Then we went on a little walk to the park and the children found a little wooded area that they said was their cave. They walked all the way there singing the rhyme 😍
Then this afternoon we painted our own bear masks 🧸🐻
