With extreme temperatures during the summer months expected to be increasingly common in future years, we at the Early Years Alliance are calling on the government to do more to support early years providers to adapt to this new 'normal. This includes, for example, clearer guidance on caring of babies and young children in high temperatures, particularly in light of new safe sleep guidance.

As part of this work, we are keen to hear more about your experiences working and operating during recent heatwaves, including what challenges you have faced and what support you would find useful going forward.
