🎬 Macbeth Movie Night!

It’s movie night at the Upper Academy! Our students are settling in to watch a film adaptation of Macbeth, supporting their English Literature learning while bringing Shakespeare’s famous tragedy to life on screen.

A great way to explore the play from a different perspective &deepen their understanding of the characters, themes & story. 🎭📚

Enjoy the film! 🍿

🎓 Exploring future careers at the Basildon Skills Show

Our Upper Academy students enjoyed exploring a wide range of future careers at the Basildon Skills Show, talking to representatives from different organisations & companies & finding out more about the pathways available to them.

There were plenty of opportunities to get hands-on too, including trying their hand at bricklaying, controlling a crane & interacting with a robot dog! 🤖🏗️

With employers, colleges, universities, apprenticeship providers & training organisations all in one venue, it was a fantastic opportunity for students to ask questions, discover different career options & explore their next steps. 👏
