As a follower of our page, you may have wondered why we don't post photos of the children’s faces 🧒

While the children are our biggest assets, and we would absolutely love to share those beautiful smiles that show just how happy they are in our setting, our biggest priority will always be keeping our little people safe. Not just while they are in our care, but beyond it too ❤️

We are passionate about protecting, and respecting, children’s privacy. In a world where so much of our lives are shared online, we believe it is important to play our part in reducing our children's digitial footprint from a young age 🥰

But dont worry, we are still capturing all those wonderful moments and if your child attends Little Steps Pre-School, you have access to Tapestry, where you can securely view photos and updates of all the activities, achievements and special moments your child experiences each week.

Always celebrating their learning - always putting their safety first ❤️

Our Tuff Tray is always an exciting part of the room! It is one of the first places the children go to, excited to discover what activity is waiting for them! ✨️

Last week, our tuff tray embraced the change in weather and welcomed Autumn into the room!🍂🍁

Who knew that something as simple as clipping leaves onto string could bring so much excitement, determination and concentration, all while developing those important fine motor skills 🖐

Why not give this activity a go at home? You'll soon have little helpers ready to get involved in hanging your washing out to dry! 👕

Little Builders with BIG imaginations ✨️

Children see jobs, people and everyday tasks happening around them and it is our job to bring these real world experiences to life. Our construction themed tuff tray did just that!

Together we mixed our own 'cement', chose the bricks, and set to work 👷‍♂️
The results.....some beautiful towers, houses and castles made 🧱

The building fun doesnt stop there. Our Construction area is available daily and gives our budding builders endless opportunities to build up, knock down, problem solve and rebuild 🔨

Building skills confidence and friendships, one brick at a time 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Are you aware of the new screen time guidance issued by the government?

In a world where technology is everywhere, it can be really difficult to navigate and find the right balance between screen time and other activities for your child.

On our website we have links to information and ideas on screen swaps to reduce the time children spend on screens.

Visit our website to find out more 🙂

* Uniform Recycling *

As we approach the end of term, we would like to remind you about our 'Uniform Recycling Box'.
If your child will be leaving us next week and you have any items of uniform or clothing that are no longer needed, we kindly ask that you consider donating them rather than throwing them away.

A Uniform Recycling box will be located by the front door from Monday for you to drop items in 🙂

If your child will be returning, please feel free to take a look and help yourself to anything that might be useful 🩷
