🌈Welcome to Reggio Rainbows - a home education group, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. 🌈
My name is Verity, and I am a home educating mother of 4, originally from Bristol, now living in South Essex, where our group will be based.
I have a background in education and a passion for the early years.
I have studied many approaches to education and learning, and the Reggio Emilia approach aligns well with my own ethos to children’s play, learning and development and it is something I absolutely LOVE to share with others- and I will do exactly that on this page. 🥰
As well as this page being made for the parents that will attend my group with their children, this page will also be used to share Reggio with anyone and everyone that it may benefit- I will post many activities that are affordable (mostly free, as Reggio makes use of the natural resources we can all find in the environment surrounding us!) and I will happily help answer any questions you may have about Reggio Emilia.
As I write this post, my group has not yet been born. 😅 There are many many things that have to be finalised between now and September 2023, when I plan to open the group…. even the venue has not yet been confirmed, although it will definitely be in south Essex.
It will be primarily for children that would be reception age to year 3, if they were at school; 4-8 year olds.
However, younger siblings AND older siblings are welcome.
I will also be looking carefully at days, so as to not clash with the many other home education groups and classes we already attend with our children, in our thriving home Ed community.
I am very happy to have all of you here on this page, as our group starts to blossom and grow and I hope this is the start of something new and exciting for us all. ❤️🌈
