🏅 What an incredible two days of Sports Day! 🏅

A huge well done to all of our pupils, who showed fantastic determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the events. We are so proud of every single one of you! 🌟

A big thank you to our wonderful PTA for providing refreshments, to our fantastic Sports Leaders for all of their hard work and support, and to all of the parents and carers who came along to cheer the children on. Your encouragement helped make the days so special.

Year 5 Girls Netball Friendly Fixture vs St Joseph's

Well done to our Year 5 Girls Netball Team, who took part in a friendly fixture against St Joseph's last night. The girls showed fantastic teamwork, determination and great sportsmanship throughout the match. It was a brilliant opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy competitive netball.

A special thank you to Myla and Neve, who kindly came along to umpire the games.

🎭 Stratford-upon-Avon Trip🎭

Our pupils had an amazing couple of days last week exploring the home of William Shakespeare!

Day 1 saw them visit Shakespeare's Birthplace, Shakespeare's New Place, and Anne Hathaway's Cottage, bringing history and literature to life. ✒️📚

Day 2 was packed with even more excitement, including a visit to the MAD Museum, a relaxing river cruise, and a spooky ghost walk to round off the day! 👻🚤

Everyone had a fantastic time, making wonderful memories along the way! 🌟

🚒 A huge thank you to Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service for visiting our school on Monday to deliver special assemblies to every year group.

Our pupils enjoyed learning about the vital work of the fire service, including emergency response times, the role of an Arson Officer, and how to stay safe at home and during the summer holidays. It was an engaging and informative experience, and we are grateful for the valuable advice shared with our school community.👏

🌍✨ Culture Day 2026 ✨🌍

Last Friday, Arnold Academy came alive with music, food and celebration as we enjoyed our fantastic Culture Day!

Pupils and staff embraced the opportunity to celebrate the many cultures that make up our school community. From traditional clothing and delicious foods to music, activities and learning about different customs from around the world, it was a wonderful day filled with respect, curiosity and pride.

One of the highlights of the day was our Culture Day Cake Competition, where students showcased their incredible baking skills and creativity. The entries were absolutely amazing, with beautifully decorated cakes inspired by cultures from around the world. A huge well done to everyone who took part.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. Your enthusiasm, kindness and willingness to share your cultures made it a truly memorable celebration. 🌎
