They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

If you're having a toy clear out before Christmas, if you have anything that could find a new home here at Kids Club, we would love it. Anything that children can use for open-ended play that lets them be creative and use their imagination would be great!
Examples of toys we could use are: fidget toys, cars, garage, buggies/prams, small construction toys, dolls house, play people/figures, dressing up clothes, etc. These are just some ideas, but anything along these lines would be fantastic!
We are going to be making a large poppy display for Remembrance Day again this year, so if you could bring your old plastic bottles into us over the next few weeks we would be grateful. We use the bottle bottoms to make the flowers.

Barton Kids Club is run by a committee of parent volunteers. We are not a commercial business, the parents run the Club so that high quality, affordable childcare is available for those that need it. We are a not-for-profit organisation, raising enough money through session fees to cover our running costs.
The Club's AGM is being held on Wednesday 25 May at 7:30 at the Club premises. We would love it if parents/carers could come along and join us for an hour or so. There will be wine and nibbles, and no pressure to join the committee - although new members are, of course, always welcome. We do hope you can make it.

Our "Wear Your Silly Headgear" fundraiser brought in a total of £185.36 for Gorgeous George - One Big Fight. Thank you everyone, a fantastic result!
We're fundraising all week for Gorgeous George - One Big Fight
Every penny counts towards raising the money to help get George home to his family.
Thank you!
Next week, from Monday 31 January through to Friday 4 February, we will be fundraising for Gorgeous George. Our theme is Wear Your Silly Headgear.
For a donation, your child can wear their silly headgear as many days as they wish while attending Kids Club. They can wear a silly hat, a paper hat, a home-made hat, a head or mask from the dressing up box, ear muffs, dad's cap, mum's bobble hat, or just a hat. You get the idea!
If your child doesn't like to wear headgear, it would be lovely if you could just make a donation.
We hope you can support us and raise some funds to help get George home safely.
Thank you!

Who remembers making paper chains and lanterns as a child? As you can see, they're still popular!
