We have had an artist ( I wonder if you can guess who?) come and work his magic on our front of the nursery, and we can’t believe how much better it looks and deffinitely more like a nursery, more ideas for the future front of the nursery and we will also be having some children’s artwork painted as a mural 😍

🍾WOW, TOMORROW WE CELEBRATE 30 YEARS OF FIELD VIEW DAY NURSERY🎉

We celebrates 30 years of dedication to families in Barton and surrounding areas thanks to Margaret Hepworth who opened the nursery 30 years ago.
Anyone who knows Margaret knows she is not one for being in the limelight or shouting from the roof tops therefore, we will be celebrating with her and her family, our children & tribe tomorrow as we are so grateful to her hard work and dedication for the past 30 years.

if anyone has any special words, photos or memories that would like to share please private message me as I would love to share these tomorrow.

We are proud of this incredible milestone,
and all those who have helped shape our family throughout the years thank you to everyone past and present, families, staff members etc🥰

💕Today is traditionally Mother’s Day and there are so many fantastic mothers out there however, our Field view family have some children who live with mum and dad, some who have two daddies or mummies, some who live with just a mummy or a daddy, some who have angel Mummies and/or daddies, some who live in a blended family, some who live with adoptive or foster parents, and some who live with grandparents🫂👥

That is why today we want to celebrate all our unique and wonderful families, and want you to enjoy your day.
All our families are unique and special EVERY DAY 😍

🎄1st DECEMBER TOMORROW ☃️

I wanted to do a little shout out, as I have a fantastic tribe who work hard all year to ensure our little family members are supported with their own learning and development, and building relationships with parents/carers.

Wow they are all great and make our family, I am extremely proud of them all, they have all helped either today or this evening when nursery closed to get the nursery ready for December.

We even had two elves working their magic in the store cupboard (Narnia is what we like to call it), and three helpers who are not tribe members Poppy, Rio and Jemma Cranidge Quaintance, thank you we appreciate it.

We also would like to thank our families who donated Xmas trees, baubles, decorations, and a real Xmas tree from Andy brooms in Goxhill. I can’t post pics as don’t want to spoil the fun for children tomorrow😍

It’s that time of the year where some people find it hard due to finances, family members no longer here, pressures to keep with instagram and social media for their families.

😍Please remember Xmas is about spending it with your family, and spreading a little kindness, if we could ask anything please just say a kind word to someone or give them a smile it may just make their day.😊

One of the best things about being in business is being able to help our local community.

We supplied £200 of Deepdale Gift Vouchers to Beech House Care Home, and Field View Day Nursery won them!

Today Dawn (left) Becky and Kirsty from Field View Day Nursery visited Deepdale with their vouchers, choosing a range of plants to make their garden lovely for the children.

Well before covid hit we entered a competition with
Beech house care home to make a summer of joy garden, and we won £200 to spend at Deepdale Garden Centre.

Today I can happily say I took the two tribe members who made the summer of joy garden to deepdale to spend the vouchers, wow what a great selection they have chosen chives, herbs,salad, vegetables, fruit for the children to grow from garden to plate; alongside some lovely flowers to brighten the garden and we found some giant footprints to use 😍

If anyone has any garden ornaments, windchimes, or a plastic greenhouse or items they would like to donate to our garden please feel free to message. Our children have a fantastic outdoor space that we are wanting to enhance to support our curious children😍

🐣Wren kindly donated some Easter eggs for all our children and tribe (those not in will get theirs when they are back in the setting), thanks to one of our family members for suggesting us (Kayley Sanchez),
we also got them to judge our Easter bonnet and egg competition😍
