Celebrating Girl’s Football.

Before half term, our Y2 and Y4 teams took on the home of Barrow AFC.

They played at Holker Street and loved every minute. With goals flying in left, right and centre and 100% effort, the girls certainly made an impression.

This afternoon, Year 4 were helping to tidy our prayer area as a part of this week’s Laudato Si mission across the school. They worked so hard and have made a brilliant start! They now look forward to joining forces with Year 3 in our joint mission to finish this area off.

In RE, Year 4 also wrote some letters to Cannon Manny linked to Pope Francis’s Laudato Si letter. We hope you enjoy reading through a small selection of these 💙

This morning, Year 3 led us in a beautiful Celebration of the Word where we celebrated Mary. The whole school, and our families and friends who joined us, then processed outside before crowning our statue of Mary.
