Today some of our Older Voyagers took part in the community litter pick in partnership with Warrior down. What a group we took, The children were very well behaved while collecting litter around the local area. They talked with the local police who then treated the children to some cakes and sweets, which they enjoyed with a nice cold drink of water after an hour of collecting litter. The children would like to thank the 2 officers from Cumbria Police again for their kind treats. They learnt the importance of looking after our local community and making sure they put their litter in the bin. Well done to all the children and the many volunteers

This Afternoon some of the players from Barrow AFC visited the children in the voyagers classroom. The children loved sharing some of their toys and drawing with the players. I will share more photos tomorrow. But a big thank you for our presents and taking the time out of your day to make the children happy.
