Hello everyone, we hope you're all having a lovely summer break and we're looking forward to welcoming you all back to school on WEDNESDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER.
Gates will open to all children at 8:35. If you are unsure which gate to use, more information will be sent out on inset day on Tuesday.

If you require wrap-around breakfast club next week, this will be available from Wednesday at 7:30 at a cost of £3 per day.

Alternatively, we have a new FREE BREAKFAST CLUB starting on Wednesday morning from 8:15. Please use the breakfast club entrance on Island Road and head up the path towards the dining room.

Lots more information will follow when staff are back in school next Tuesday, we're looking forward to seeing you all soon!

We are delighted to announce that we, Barrow Island Community Primary School, have achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year!

Don’t forget it is our BAZI Summer Festival in the school playground this Wednesday 1th July

There will be live music, BBQ, bouncy castle, ice lollies, ice-creams, drinks, sweets, cakes, etc. as
well as festival face art, festival hair, wash off tattoos, children’s games and various small items
for sale. Please note we only take cash payments – please bring change.

As part of this event, we are excited to be running a Bottle Tombola, which is always a popular
attraction with both children and adults alike!
To make this event a success, we are kindly asking for donations of bottles. These can include:
Bottles of pop.
Bottles of shampoo/conditioner.
Bottles of any toiletries.
Bottles of alcohol (Please could adults bring these to the office and could all items be within date
and unopened, please!)

We are holding our annual BAZI Fest on Wednesday July 1st and are looking for stallholders to join us 😁

The event will run from 3.45-5.30, weather permitting but with an indoor back up plan for wet weather with table set up from 2.30 pm onwards.

Tables are available at £15 per table.
