I understand this feels very premature; however applications are needed to be submitted before the deadline which is 15th January 2027, so lots to think about!

What a wonderful, busy first week of term it has been!
New starters and our term time only children settling into our nursery family amazingly, bug hunts, mud kitchens, building, activity trays, lots of outdoor play and making new friends and its only been a 4 day week- cant wait to see what everyone gets up to next week!

As this typical British weather isn't very reliable and some days it can be all seasons in one!- Please can we remind parents to send children prepared for all weathers as we try to get outside as much as possible!

I cannot belive it but already it is the end of the summer holidays and term returns next week!! and what a busy summer it has been, from deep cleans to transitions and new starts we have had it all 😁 and it has been fabulous (and busy!)

Today will be the last day for any of ours starting school - we have had some many goodbyes 😢 but we look forward to seeing pictures in their new uniforms

We have shuffled ours rooms and prepared everything for the new term - we look forward to welcoming everyone back next week

Quick reminder - it is a Bank Holiday on Monday so nursery is closed and term starts on Wednesday the 2nd September, have a lovely weekend everyone

Well safe to say that was not the Friday we expected!
I want to say a huge thank you to the lady that phoned us to inform of the fire and contacting the fire service - I didn't get your name but thank you for thinking of us 😊

Less than 2 hours from our initial phone call and everyone was evacuated and home with parents or carers. The staff followed the procedures in place and made sure everyone was safe, the children loved the little adventure.
Another big thank you to Ormsgill Stronger Together and Jade for accommodating us so quickly. The space there is used for children's groups so was suitable for all our children to have a play and enjoy their sensory space while they waited to be collected.

Thank you also to parents for your quick responses I will update you all on tapestry as soon as I can 😊

Lovely weather again this week even if it does feel too hot to work 🥵

As usual the children love to be outside in what ever weather they can - this time we have enjoyed some den building a lovely way to create some shade 🌞🌞
