If you need some advice on your next steps we are having a GCSE advice session drop-in at our Channelside campus, 10am-2pm where our friendly staff will be on hand to give you any advice or support.

Well done to India Skye-Bower who achieved 2 Distinction* in Business and Travel & Tourism as well as a C in photography. India has now secured a higher apprenticeship at BAE Systems in Project Management.
“It’s a big relief to finally see the hard work has paid off and it’s nice to know the hard work came to a good conclusion.”

Congratulations to former Dowdales School (Official) student Emily Titcombe who has secured her place at the University of Oxford to study English Literature. Emily achieved A*A*A*A in English Literature, Art, Photography and Film Studies.
“I would like to thank my tutors, they were really motivating and supportive throughout my two years at college, they always went above and beyond and I’m so grateful for them.”

Congratulations to former Walney School student Tyler Johnson who has achieved A*, B, B, in Art & Design, English Language and Sociology. Tyler is continuing her love of art here at Barrow Sixth Form and has enrolled on the full time Btec Foundation course in Art, Design & Media. After this she will go to university or enter employment to make the best use of her creative skills such as Graphic Design or tattoo artist.

Very well done to Rory Hall (left), former Dowdales School (Official) student who achieved A* in physics, A in maths, A in chemistry and C in Biology. He is excited to start a new challenge after securing his place at Lancaster University to study Physics.
