Roose Nursery

Roose Nursery has been registered by Ofsted on the Early Years Register since July 2011. The nursery serves the local area and is part of the school.

We are managed by a voluntary committee and situated within Roose Community Primary School in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. The children have access to the nursery room, the school hall and toilet facilities. There is also an enclosed outdoor play area and a large enclosed field available for outdoor play. The nursery is open from Mondays to Fridays during school term times. Sessions are from 8.45am

until 11.45am and 12.15pm to 3.15pm with a lunch club offered inbetween sessions. Children are able to attend for a variety of sessions.

Busy to Balanced training course - Children can’t always tell us what they need, but behaviour is communication. This course will help you understand the science of regulation and give you practical tools to support children to feel safe, calm and ready to learn.

Location: Roose Nursery - 6th October 2026.

Course is aimed at all parents/carers and any professionals working with children.
