Bookings will open for Barrow camp 2027 at 6pm tonight. The link will be posted on our page. Residential places will be limited initially to 40 until we can identify a suitable location as a residential space, which will allow us to increase that number. Non residential places will be available unrestricted until we reach camp capacity.

A final note for the 2026 camp. Barrow is a massive jigsaw puzzle with pieces all over the place until we pull them all together for 1 week in July to produce what we think, is a Masterpiece. The puzzle pieces are people, groups, organisations and facilities who often go unmentioned. So this is to give them my thanks and recognition for what we have all done for the development of basketball this week, which is why we exist in the first place.
Heartfelt thanks go to:- The parents for sending your kids and trusting us to look after them. The players for engaging with 'the process'. The coaches for providing experience, knowledge and know how to the many training sessions and games. The behind the scenes team that just get stuck in and do anything the camp needs, we could not do it without them. That group can be sub divided into Marisa, Megan and Nozzer in the tuck shop. The brilliant Media Team driven by Katie and supported by Jo and Megan who did all the livestreaming. Dave for running a seamless check in. The multifunctional driving/reffing/overnight chaperone and anything else that needs doing team of Martin, Heft, Chris (the other one), Mike, Alex, Danny and Sam. Soph for rocking up every night to referee. Paula for helping with first aid and my sanity, Becca and Rachel for being our wonderful nurses. Bed builders (some named above) plus Conal, Alex, Alex and Liam. Then we must thank Bedz4hire, Jayne and Jayne and the amazing team at Furness Academy Kitchen for keeping everyone fed. Furness Academy, Dowdales School, Chetwynde School, St Bernards School, Walney School for the use of their courts. Cumbria Community Transport, St Georges School, Rumic Foundation, Leven Valley School and Holy Family School and St Marys Church for the use of their minibuses, Finally, Hoops Basketball Centre, as old as Eurocamp itself as both began in July 1998 and it has been the home of Eurocamp ever since, with the primary purpose of developing basketball in the UK and beyond. I'm sure I will have forgotten someone. All the pieces have scattered back to their usual places now, but you can bet your boots they'll all be back again next year. We don't do it for any other reason that we love it as much as the kids do. Thank you all.

Part of Eurocamp tradition involves having a staff member score in every basketball with a deflated basketball. The staff nominate each other throughout for the week for silly behaviour, and this year’s winner was Coach Jake! What a way to end his first ever Eurocamp 🤣
