All About Me topic helps your child to learn about areas such as friendship, diversity and self-expression. This week preschool have talked about themselves and what they look like.❤️
📖 We started the week with a lovely story called, “This is me.” We then created a 3D bowl portrait using the mirrors to keep checking what colour hair and eyes we have, using different art materials. Fantastic job, Sunshine Room! ☀️💙❤️

This morning in our English lesson, we reviewed common and proper nouns. The children enjoyed running to the ends of the Muga and freezing if I tricked them by not shouting a common or proper noun. Well done Year 2! ⭐️❤️💙

Recognising 10’s and 1’s

In Year 2 today, we used base ten to represent a two-digit number. We discussed the value of each digit and how a two-digit number is composed of tens and ones.

Year 3 have started their first art unit this afternoon. The children have been reminded of previously taught skills when sketching and will be further developing their drawing skills as the unit progresses. Today, we looked at shapes in images and then used them to begin our own sketches on plants. Well done Year 3!❤️💙
