It’s September, that means starting school! 🎒

We’re wishing all children, but especially those starting Reception, a brilliant year ahead. ✨

Starting school is a big milestone, but it's the small, everyday moments, like getting dressed independently, sharing, getting along with others and being able to talk about how they are feeling, that will give them the confidence to settle in at school.

⚽ ONSIDE FOOTBALL SKILL SESSIONS – SEPTEMBER

Want to help your child become more confident and comfortable on the ball? Our Onside Skill Sessions are back this September in Barrow and Ulverston! 🙌

These sessions are designed to develop individual technique, ball mastery, decision making and team play, using a combination of Futsal and Coerver coaching techniques, alongside small-sided games.

Each session forms part of a continuous coaching programme, giving players regular opportunities to develop and maximise their time with the ball. ⚽🔥

📍 BARROW – St Bernard’s Sports Hall
🗓 Mondays from 7th September
⏰ Year 1–3: 5–6pm
⏰ Years 4–6: 6–7pm

📍 ULVERSTON – UVHS Sports Hall
🗓 Fridays from 11th September
⏰ Year 1–3: 5–6pm
⏰ Years 4–6: 6–7pm

💷 £42 for 7 weeks of coaching

All sessions are delivered by fully qualified coaches with enhanced DBS checks, providing a fun, safe and positive environment for players to learn and develop.

⭐ A great opportunity for players who want to improve their skills, gain confidence and challenge themselves in a more focused training environment.

Staff will be in school this week preparing classrooms and making sure everything is ready to go on Thursday! We are looking forward to welcoming you all back and teachers will be on the playground to answer any questions & show children to their new classrooms. 😃
