🏆 Graham Harris Cup Winners! 🏆

Congratulations to Alex G., Thomas D., Iszi B., Louie B. and Verity C., who joined six other teammates to help Filleigh CC secure a fantastic victory in the Graham Harris Cup against Braunton at Instow.

This is a truly special achievement, marking the first time in more than 20 years that Filleigh has lifted the cup! 🏏

⛰️ Prep 4 have been exploring different mountain types in Humanities, including fold, dome, volcanic and block mountains. Using their research, they have created fantastic 3D models to show how these mountains form and their unique features.

🌟 Thank you to Sidmouth Science Festival 🌟

Our Prep School pupils had a fantastic time taking part in a variety of exciting science activities and experiments. The hands-on sessions were engaging, inspiring, and full of opportunities for discovery and exploration.

Many Year 6 pupils planned their own activities to teach science to younger pupils!

Well done for everyone's hard work for sharing your enthusiasm and helping to ignite a love of science! 🔬✨

🌞 Two days of adventure, laughter and memories to last a lifetime!

From obstacle courses, pond dipping and stream scrambling to disc golf, Lynmouth, the funicular and ice creams, our Prep 3 children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and smiles. 🍦

🎉 It's Year 6 Move Up Day! 🎉

Our Year 6 students are enjoying a packed schedule of lessons, including English, Art and Chemistry, giving them a taste of life at senior school.

The day also includes House chants to build team spirit before heading to the athletics fields to cheer on competitors at Senior Sports Day.

A brilliant day all round, and a fantastic introduction to the next stage of their school journey!

📚 Creative Learning in Action! 📚

On Tuesday, our Prep 3 and Prep 5 pupils visited Pathfields School to take part in a collaborative event with other local primary schools.

Each school delivered a presentation on which picture book they believed should win this year’s Carnegie Medal for Illustration. Prep 3 and 5 presented The Paper Bridge, illustrated by Seng Soun Ratanavanh. They even created beautiful Kirigami houses to accompany their presentation.
