West Buckland School was founded in 1858 and is an independent day and boarding school set in 100 acres of beautiful North Devon countryside in the South West of England. Year 12s Conquer the Brecon Beacons on Gold DofE Expedition!

A strong team of five Year 12s breezed through their 4-day Gold DofE expedition across the Brecon Beacons over several warm and muggy days! From blowy gales on Offa's D**e to calm valleys below, the students powered through together.

With smiles and laughter getting them through the days, the instructors also treated them to ice cream and fruit to replenish their energy and spirits during the unprecedented early UK heatwave. 🌞🍦🍉
