37hour tutor led course

£330, inclusive of VAT, per person (full funding available if you work for SMART Swim Centre.

All candidates attending this course must meet the following requirements:

🏊 Be at least 16 years of age.
🏊 Be able to jump into deep water.
🏊 Be able to swim 50 metres in under 1 minute.
🏊 Be able to swim 100 metres on the front and 100 metres on the back without stopping.
🏊 Be able to tread water for 30 seconds in deep water.
🏊 Be able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool.
🏊 Be able to climb out of the pool unaided without the use of steps or ladders.

What you will need:
Swimwear. (A T-shirt and shorts)

Defib and CPR courses are available now.

We have decided to place a publicly accessible defibrillator outside our Head Office.

These are not cheap, but we have a lot of staff training and with the Tarka Trail right next to the offices we felt it was a necessary expense.

All our staff will be trained in how to use it and if anyone is unfortunate enough to need it and no one is in the office, just dial 999 and they will give you the lock code.

Online sessions are 9th, 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th March 6pm-9:30pm

Pool practical sessions and exam is 19th March 2pm-6pm and 20th March 9am-1pm at Bidwell Brook School, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 6JU.

Online sessions are interactive, fun and informative, preparing learners for the practical in water teaching sessions and exam. Tutor is available for ongoing feedback and support outside of course hours.

Become a Level 2 Baby and Pre-School Swimming Teacher

Online sessions are 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th November 6:30pm-9:30pm with pool practical sessions and exam 21st and 28th November, 1pm - 5pm at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, SO22 5DG.

Online sessions are interactive, fun and informative, preparing learners for the practical in water teaching sessions and exam.
