Just two little words - Messy Play - can reduce the most calm and collected parent into a state of panic, with images of splattered walls, stained floors and utter chaos. Sarah's Messy Play sessions are a chance for you and your child to have the best of both worlds; to make unlimited mess without any clearing up. ials to discover and explore supported with fun toys and props. Let little ones wiggle spaghetti, dig in moon sand, mark make with slime and scoop with cereal! Encourage them to build unique creations, invent stories and feel relaxed and free to explore, experiment and discover! Our groups are relaxed and friendly with a focus on child led play so children can simply play and explore at their own pace and on their own terms. Their is no set outcome or pre planned objective of what they are going to do or learn. This is how the some of the greatest learning takes place! Such activities can offer so many benefits for little ones, supporting learning and development in so many ways! Children learn through experimentation ,working out how to problem solve and understanding the cause and effect of different actions. New textures colours and shapes help to develop an understanding of their senses and the world around them. They can build on their fine motor skills, develop language and communication and increase their confidence and independence, all while having fun! During the session each family have their own messy play mat with a selection of themed toys, props and materials. Children under 2 will be provided with taste safe messy materials. At the end of each session children are provided with a bowl of water to wash off the mess! Please bring a spare change of clothes for you and your child and an old towel to dry them after the session.
