A tip from Melanie: "If your kids are fussy eaters, you’re not doing anything wrong," she says. "It really is down to nature what they like and what they don’t like. Try hard to take your own emotions out of it, keep it fun, keep it breezy, complain about it later to your friends… and you might just shift the dynamic.” 💚

🏡👶🏼 Child Safety Week 2026 (1st - 7th June) is a reminder that the smallest safety checks can make the biggest difference.
From keeping hot drinks out of reach and locking away medicines to securing stair gates and turning pan handles inward, simple actions help create a safer environment for curious little explorers. 💚
This year's theme, “Making Prevention Possible,” encourages families to take practical, everyday steps that reduce risks and prevent accidents before they happen.
Together, we can give children the freedom to learn, play, and grow safely. 🥰

Every year, hundreds of thousands of workers suffer physical injuries, emphasizing the critical importance of on-site first aid preparedness and timely intervention. ⏳️
Mini First Aid is accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) to provide workplace first aid courses for those in need of certification. ⛑️
Our courses include Paediatric First Aid, Blended Paediatric First Aid, Paediatric First Aid - Outdoor Learning, First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, Defibrillator Training, Auto Injector Training. 🏥
Public courses are available for individual attendees (and will be coming later this year to the North Devon area), or we can deliver courses in-house for groups of employees now.
Looking for a blended learning option? We offer FAIB-accredited blended learning courses that reduce in-person training time while maintaining flexibility. All courses still provide high-quality training, with practical assessments completed in class. 🚑

The NHS advice is that babies under 6 months old should be kept out of direct sunlight. ⛱️
Older babies should also be kept out of the sun as much as possible, particularly in the summer and between 11am and 3pm, when the sun is at its strongest.
Keep your baby cool and protect them from the sun. ☀️
