Our new Story Journey book is ‘Happy in Our Skin’ 🥰

I chose this beautiful story because it celebrates diversity, kindness, inclusion and being proud of who we are! ❤️

This morning we turned our play space into a mini science lab and racetrack! Using tubes, pipes and slides, the children explored how balls and toys move when we change the angle, height and surface of the track. 🏁

It may be pouring it down outside but our plants are under a little roof so they still need a good drink! 🚰

Rainy day maths fun this morning! ☔🎲

We rolled the dice, counted the dots carefully and then searched for the matching number in our book before finding the correct number log to match. The children worked brilliantly on number recognition, counting skills and early maths development whilst having lots of fun learning through play 🥰

These paintings were made by my children when they were little, so having them here in the cabin means a lot 🖌️🎨

This is my workplace, but it’s their home too and having little pieces of their work on the walls makes it feel warm, personal and full of love 🥰

We’ve spent the last few days staying with my sister in London, who’s also a childminder 🧸

As you can see, my eldest turns into a little childminding assistant wherever we go. Watching how caring, helpful and gentle she is with the little ones is honestly so lovely and makes me so proud 🥰

Maybe one day she’ll be working alongside me… while her little sister is off building skyscrapers or inventing something amazing 👷🏼‍♀️📋

Today was all about the bees! 🐝
