We hope you all had a great bank holiday πΈ
We enjoyed watching the new baby ducklings play at cannon hall π₯
We made sure to lather up with lots of factor 50 and stay to the shaded areas βοΈ
How did you spend your long weekend?

Sunshine, shade, and smiles βοΈπ©·
We had such a lovely time at Barnsley Garden Party today. My Lilly was completely captivated by the acrobats and loved sitting watching all the movement and excitement. We stayed in the shade to keep safe and cool while enjoying the atmosphere together πΈ

Little hands, big learning β¨
Today we enjoyed cucumber sticks, toast, and a first taste of mackerel! Exploring new foods helps build confidence, independence, and healthy eating habits π

Busy behind the scenes getting all my policies and procedures printed and organised πβ¨
These are such an important part of my childminding setting β helping to keep every child safe, supported, and cared for in the best possible way π
My little helper clearly decided supervising was exhausting and took herself a well-earned break halfway through π€π₯Ή
Now itβs off to the cot for proper sleepy time πΈ

Little outdoor adventures with my daughter Lilly πΏ
One thing that will always be important in my future childminding setting is spending time outdoors and exploring nature together.
Whether itβs watching ducks on the water, listening to the trees move in the wind, spotting animals, or simply enjoying fresh air, I truly believe nature offers some of the best opportunities for learning, development and calm little moments π€
Lilly already loves taking everything in around her, and I canβt wait to create a warm, nurturing environment where other little ones can safely learn, play and explore too β¨
My waiting list is now open whilst I complete my Ofsted registration journey π€© Barnsley central (S70 2)

The first little instalment of our beautiful sensory border πΈ
This space will be filled with child-friendly plants for the little lads and lasses to explore, encouraging curiosity, learning, and hands-on discovery.
From feeling different textures to smelling sweet scents, our sensory border will support gross and fine motor skills while engaging all five sensesβ¦ with plenty more benefits along the way π
I canβt wait to watch it grow alongside the children π€©
