▶️ Early Years Learning Lead: Early Language (4 Days a week)
▶️ Early Years Learning Lead: Early Maths (3 Days a week)
▶️ Early Years Learning Lead: Personal, Social and Emotional Development (2 Days a week)
In each role, you will deliver DfE training, provide tailored coaching to settings, and work with local and national networks

An update on safer sleeping: DfE recommends that coracles are only used for babies aged over 12 months. This is due to safety risks. A cot, carry cot, moses basket or travel cot that meets British Safety Standards is the safest place for a baby aged 12 months and under to sleep in.

By participating, settings can access free professional development programmes while also contributing to vital evidence on effective early years practice.

New from the Department for Education (DfE) this week:
A consultation on Shaping the Future of Early Years Teaching is seeking views on proposals for a shared core body of professional early years knowledge, options for how early years teacher training could be structured in future, potential routes to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for early years teachers and delivery implications for these courses, including induction and placements. (Deadline: 24 September 2026.)
