Lots of spring fun happening this week in Preschool 🥰

🌸 A little reminder about the playgroups we hold in the community centre attached to Preschool on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

Join us for a lovely spring session filled with bright colours, seasonal activities, and plenty of fun for little ones. Tuesday and Friday 🥰

As it’s going to be sunny and warm for a few days can we please ask that any children attending holiday club please come wearing suncream and we will re-apply through the day. Thank you ☀️

🔴Virus Update🔴

Just to reassure parents about this virus, we are doing everything we can to contain it. We have been deep cleaning setting since the outbreak and this includes washing every single soft furnishing, cushion cover, dolls clothes, dressing up outfits aswell as washing down every surface, resource and floors.

We thank you as parents for following the guidance and promptly collecting your child if they become ill and keeping them off for the 48 hours.

A big thank you to the staff team for the extra work and support in caring for the children and carrying out the extra cleaning involved at this time.

Tomorrow is the last day of term and we re-open on Monday 13th April. Hopefully this gives the nasty bugs a chance to disappear too 😊

🔴 Health Information Update 🔴

Can we please remind parents that if your child has had a an illness can you please follow the guidelines when it’s ok for them to return. We have had a few cases of a diarrhoea and vomiting virus and the guidance is 48 hours after the last episode of D&V this is to stop the spread of the virus. We appreciate people have to work and sometimes 48 hours to be off is inconvenient and difficult to arrange care but it’s really important we follow this guidance to stop the spread of infection. Today we have 2 members of staff off with this illness and if we couldn’t cover these staff members we would have had to close or reduce the amount of children we could care for. We need to protect everyone this includes your children and staff everyone’s families. Please see the attached guidance if you are unsure about when to send your child back to preschool after illness.

The last few weeks we have been enjoying lots of Easter fun at Preschool! One more week left until the Easter holidays. If your children want even more Easter fun we do still have places available at our Easter holiday club. Children welcome from age 2-11years, bring your friends and family along too for busy days of Easter play! 😊

Easter Holiday Club booking forms have been sent out. Please let us know asap if you need to book a place. Lots of Easter themed fun planned.
