Help For Heroes will be hosting some veteran taster paddle sports days and a chance to find out what’s on offer at Manvers Lake & Dearne Valley Trust. Lots of fun and a great way to build your confidence in a safe, learning, and fun environment.

If your worried that this might not be for you, please get in touch as we are ready to help get you on the water. Most of all it will be a chance to have a fun meet social day with other veterans.

On the day there will be a chance to see what's available and look at some future activities such as Dragon Boating, Open water swimming and more….

We try to make our events as inclusive as possible so if you need any support or adaptations for the day, please get in touch we will work with you to have a safe enjoyable day.

Are you wanting to take the next step in your SUP journey?

The SUP Safer course is designed for anyone new or relatively novice to Stand Up Paddleboarding, wanting to gain knowledge and raise their awareness of their personal safety in a sheltered water environment. This will take place at Manvers Lake.
